The Women’s Creative Retreat is a small group retreat filled with a variety of experiences to help you refill your creative well, connect with one another, and feel restored. Explore our farm as you take photos with an old Polaroid, paint with watercolors near the pond, swirl an ocean drum in a bell tent, or type a poem on a vintage typewriter – and much more. We’ll share stories and meals together, and cap off the evening with a teeny tiny art show.

Want to stay the night? Pitch a tent in our orchard or stay in one of our two tiny houses. Enjoy a farm fresh breakfast together in the morning.

What’s the vibe?

My motto for this retreat is create – connect – restore. In short, I hope the vibe is a combination of a slow, deep breath with the giddiness of a kid with a new box of crayons.

The creative experiences are designed to be a sort of treasure hunt – some we’ll do together, some you’ll explore on your own, and others will encourage you to cross creative paths with one another.

Who is it for?

For women who like to create for the fun of it. For women who want to connect with others, with nature, or with the side of themselves that often gets lost in the shuffle of day to day life. For women who crave a restorative experience in a quiet, supportive space.

When is it?

Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 10am – 10pm with optional overnight camping or rustic lodging options.

Where is it at?

Copper Leaf Studios is located on a private farm in Saybrook, Ohio. It’s 1 mile south of Lake Erie, a beautiful fall drive 1 hour east of Cleveland or 45 mins. west of Erie, PA.

What about meals?

Lunch and dinner are provided (and Sunday’s breakfast, for those who opt to stay overnight). Meals will be fun, farm fresh, and family-style.

Registration + Bell Tent & breakfast: $200
Registration + Peace Portal & breakfast: $200 (sold out)
Registration + Blue Cabin & breakfast: $250

* Peace Portal and Blue Cabin each sleep two via a double bed. Bell tent provides a double futon mattress plus a single futon mattress, but can accommodate 6-8 people if you bring additional sleeping bags.

Cancellation policy:
We understand that things happen! Should you not be able to attend for any reason, you are welcome to share your paid signup with a friend. Otherwise: 

Cancellations with more than 3 days’ notice will be given your choice of full refund or credit toward a future event. 
Cancellations with less than 3 days’ notice will be given credit toward a future event. 
Credits expire within 3 years if not used.
