About the Sessions
Session I: Yoga & Mindfulness with Em Keen
Invigorate your mind and body with an all levels vinyasa yoga class. Em’s yoga classes are designed to land you in the potent space of the present moment – the only place your life is actually happening. It is from this place only that anything becomes possible. It is the place where you get to decide the quality of the moment you are standing in. This class will be challenging and playful as we explore what is possible on our yoga mat, which always finds a way to crack the window open to what is possible in our lives.
Flannel Dog Farm Lunch: Taco Bar
Enjoy a taco bar for lunch with fresh fixings made by Flannel Dog Farmer Alan Block.
Session II: Orchard Qigong with Paul Francis Zegarac
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice which coordinates slow body movements with breathing and visualization. This approachable practice provides a wealth of health and wellness benefits from balance and strength to inner peace and self empowerment. In this powerful session, Paul shares his personal story of using Qigong to help him through a diagnosis of brain cancer and then guides you through a Qigong practice.
Session III: Yoga for Stress Relief with Jorja Vornheder
Since yoga’s beginnings thousands of years ago, people have used the practice to calm the mind and body. This all-level session includes yoga asanas infused with somatic and therapeutic movements to address the major stress points in the body and use breath and quiet contemplation to bring peace and ease.
Flannel Dog Farm Dinner: Sourdough Pizza
Build your own pizza with a sourdough crust made by master baker Alan Block. Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options are available.
Session IV: Evening Sound Meditation with Mary Conley
Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, drums, gong and more with our evening sound bath led by Mary Conley. Held in the beautiful Copper Leaf Studios, you will be led on a meditative journey through the ancient art of sound healing using intentional frequency and rhythm to relax, calm and balance the mind, energetic body, and spirit.
Bonfire Release/Overnight camping
Cap off the evening with a bonfire where you let go of what is no longer serving you. Bring a tent for an optional overnight camp in our orchard, or stay in our rustic Peace Portal, Covered Wagon, or nearby Blue Cabin.
Flannel Dog Farm Breakfast: French Toast Bar
Overnight guests will awaken to a pot of hot coffee and a wonderful farm fresh breakfast of sourdough French toast, local maple syrup, homemade compotes, and fresh fruit.
